Discover the Lap of the Vines Driving Experience

Experience an unforgettable journey where vintage European automobiles, scenic roads, exceptional destinations, and memorable hospitality come together.

The Lap of the Vines is a signature VU Events driving experience created for enthusiasts who appreciate the beauty of remarkable automobiles and the unforgettable places they can take us. This curated automotive adventure combines engaging roads, beautiful landscapes, carefully selected destinations, and opportunities to connect with fellow collectors and enthusiasts who share a passion for the journey.

Designed around the spirit of exploration, the Lap of the Vines invites participants to experience their vintage and classic automobiles beyond the garage or show field. Every mile offers an opportunity to enjoy the craftsmanship, character, and performance that make these vehicles so special.

From scenic drives through beautiful landscapes to memorable stops and welcoming hospitality, the experience is designed to celebrate everything we love about getting behind the wheel.

Where Great Roads Meet Great Destinations

The Lap of the Vines is built around the belief that a remarkable driving experience should engage all the senses.

Our team carefully curates the journey to combine enjoyable driving with destinations that offer their own distinctive character. Participants can expect beautiful scenery, thoughtfully selected stops, and opportunities to relax and enjoy the experience beyond the road.

Every day brings a new opportunity to discover something memorable, whether it is an exceptional stretch of pavement, a scenic overlook, a unique destination, or a conversation with another enthusiast who shares your passion for automotive history.

The routes are selected to complement the experience of driving vintage and classic automobiles. Rather than simply moving from one location to another, the journey itself becomes an essential part of the adventure.

Thoughtfully Planned From Start to Finish

VU Events handles the details so participants can focus on what matters most: driving and enjoying the journey.

From route development and navigation to logistical coordination and hospitality, every aspect of the Lap of the Vines is thoughtfully planned to create a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Our goal is to create an experience that feels adventurous without requiring participants to worry about the countless details involved in planning a multi-day automotive journey.

Celebrate the Automobile and the Journey

A vintage automobile is more than a machine. It represents history, craftsmanship, engineering, and the stories of everyone who has enjoyed it along the way.

The Lap of the Vines gives participants the opportunity to create the next chapter in those stories.

As drivers travel together, they experience the distinctive personalities of their automobiles in the environment where they belong: on the road. There is something special about seeing a collection of remarkable vehicles traveling through beautiful landscapes, arriving together at a destination, and continuing the conversation long after the engines have been turned off.

The event welcomes enthusiasts who appreciate the diversity of vintage and classic European automobiles and the unique stories behind them. Whether you are driving a cherished long-term favorite or experiencing a new adventure with your automobile, the Lap of the Vines is designed to create lasting memories.

Built Around Community

While the roads and destinations are important, the people are what truly make a VU Events experience memorable.

The Lap of the Vines brings together collectors, drivers, restorers, enthusiasts, and adventurers from different backgrounds who share a common appreciation for exceptional automobiles. Along the way, participants have the opportunity to exchange stories, share knowledge, build friendships, and become part of a growing community.

At VU Events, we believe that the best memories are often created between destinations, in conversations at a stop, over a shared meal, while admiring another participant's automobile, or while recounting an unforgettable section of road.

Those moments are what turn a driving event into something more.
